I'd second Randolph's welcome of Shearsman 36, and outstandingly Martin's" Four Poems"and especially that grainy paper which always makes me want to read on. Is this a figure/ground thing? A useful "Books Received" section as well. Good to see, for instance a nice write-up for Craig Watson's "Reason" (Zasterle Press) which I found compulsive reading, and which contains passages I really envy: as nature becomes transparent, it yields description, the materials of construction, an enclosure, where the conditional fractures itself in a sculpture of continuous momentary finities Peter Peter Larkin Philosophy & Literature Librarian University of Warwick Library Coventry CV4 7AL UK Tel: 01203 528151 Fax: 01203 524211 Email: [log in to unmask] %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
