I have my dissertation director, Rozanne Elder, to thank for my reading Ellis Peters. She had us read _Morbid Taste_ a few years ago in a hagiography course, and I did enjoy it quite a bit, though I confess I haven't yet gotten to the rest of the novels--this in spite of the fact that I work part time at a bookstore.
