Artistic representations other than sculpture go for the rays-of-light version--I'm thinking in particular of Dore's 19th-century engravings, and there may be some paintings too. "Horns" were the only way a sculptor would have had to depict such a thing on Moses' head. John Parsons Indeed, there are paintings of the horned Moses (see Ruth Mellinkoff's book, as suggested by Elizabeth McLachlan). One widely known example is the image of "Moses Expouding the Law" (Deuteronomy) from the Bury Bible (English, early 12th c). Cheers, SBM %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
