This is an interesting point, because I'm wondering if the words miraculous
and magical might be essentially subjective.  If you believe in something, or
find it consistent with faith, you call it a miracle--a gift of God.  If you
think God had no hand in it, and it's just superstitious people or the
practice of "forbidden" arts, you dismiss  it as magic.

Here we have faith contrasted to cult, also essentiaaly subjective.
