POSTGRADUATE CONFERENCE FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS Theme: VOICES: LITERARY & LINGUISTIC INTERPRETATIONS April 24-26 1998 Hosted by: The School of Languages The University of Melbourne Parkville, VIC 3052 Australia The theme of this international, interdiscipinary conference is designed to attract postgraduate students working in a multitude of areas. Proposals of papers for the above conference are now invited. Contributions are encouraged from all postgraduate language students working in areas such as literary studies, linguistics, applied linguisitics, cinema studies, European and Asian languages, women's studies, social and cultural theory, history and politics. Wide interpretations of the theme are expected. Proposals for papers should include a title, a 200 word abstract and contact details and are due January 15 1998.
