Just signed up to the list and I thought I'd introduce myself.  I work at 
the Great Plains/Rocky Mountain Hazardous Substance Research center:

We are nearing publication of 6 peer reviewed articles in the Journal 
of Hazardous Substance Research, an on-line journal funded through a 
grant from the center.  

I plan on instituting Dublin Core meta-tags as part of the process of 
publishing the journal.  So I thought I'd better sign up to the list and 
make sure we get it right.

I also wondered what if any search engines use the DC. meta-tag schema?
