Salary will be at an appropriate point on the Lecturer Grade A or Grade B scales (stlg16,045-stlg21,894 and stlg21,894-stlg27,985 respectively). A series of recent appointments since August 1994, including two additional professorships and seven lectureships, has transformed the nature and vitality of the Department, making this an exciting time to join a vibrant and ambitious Department. Candidates must demonstrate strong research commitment and achievement. The new post is intended to further enhance the Department of Geography's international research reputation.
