Dear Thomas Ault,
Don't forget the copying out of Terence's Comedies in medieval monasteries
and which were mentioned in Augustine. These came complete with
illuminations showing actors in masks, the form of a Roman theatre, etc.,
and influenced Christian dramas, like Hrotswitha's Comedies, the Fleury
Liturgical Dramas, and Dante's Commedia, and medieval art.
