It is quite correct that Birgitta supported king Magnus Eriksson's crusade
across the Baltic sea. She also blames the king for not fulfillinge his
quest (see Book II:6, VI: 41, VIII: 2, 6, 39, 40, 43-47, 49, and Rev. Extr. 51).
In at least two reveletions Birgitta also talks about crusades in more
general form. In book II, chapter 19, she says that the crusaders thinks
more of winning land and enlarge their worldly richness than of preaching
Gods word. In book IV, chapter 48 she talks in general words about the
cruasdes to Jerusalem.
