Dear colleagues My apologies for pestering you once more with this. We are approaching the deadline for the submission of the details to enable the CRSTF to be established as a Research Group within RGS/IBG. All the necessary documentation is in place and to date we have some 28 signatures commited to joining the forum (and thank you to those peoplefor doing so). However, if the forum is to be set up it requires 40 signatures. Therefore, could I please encourage forum members who have an interest in Contract Research and Teaching issues, to send an Email to me ([log in to unmask]) stating their interest in and/or their intention to join the proposed CRSTF before May 9th. In particular, the forum is keen to attract academic (tenured) memebers of staff and research grant holders so that it can engage in constructive dialgoge to ascertain the needs of contract staff and devise policies and guidelines that will enhance the research potential of institutions and develop forms good practice within departments/cost centres themselves and within RGS/IBG. I hope that there still is the enthusiasm for this forum within the CGF and that members could commuincate this at their earliest possible convenience.
