The Department is recognised for the receipt of ESRC studentships (Mode A and B), it has one NERC award and other studentships (human and physical) to offer to the best candidates. Enquiries for human geography studentships must be received by 25 March 1997 in order to prepare an ESRC application. Applicants for physical geography studentships must be received by 18 April 1997.
