Further Information on the change in Devon LEA's policy.

Current students turned down in the past because they did not meet Devon's statementing requirement can make new applications for a DSA. They will need to provide evidence of their disability. This is usually provided by an educational psychologist. If the evidence is accepted by the LEA than the student will then have a needs assessment carried out at an access centre approved by Devon.
