A student coming to the University of Sheffield in September will have three or four carers with him, in order to provide 24 hr care. The student and the carers will be living in University halls of residence. The carers are not employees of the University. I have been asked who will supervise/support the carers and also what will be appropriate in terms of housing contracts, U-cards etc. Does anyone have experience/information to share with me?
