and i quote from the new leaflet (you can check off your favorite weasel
words as you scan through):

A new programme of National Lottery funding will assist in the production
and distribution of a wide range of publications and recordings. The
purpose of the scheme is to ensure that creative work of high quality is
made more readily available to the public.

You can apply for lottery support if:

- you have experience in producing and distributing publications and
recordings

- your project is to produce, distribute and sell new work of artistic
merit which you could not afford to undertake without a grant

- your company or organisation has been operating for a minimum of two years

- you can show how the project will benefit the public

end of quote - there's lots of verbiage like that

hold your nerve, use your wits and go for the money
also, for those with the stomach, go to the consultations and speak out
put down markers which will necessitate an 'appropriate' advisory peer
assessment. This is likely to be the biggest, arguably best, chance to get
a lot of projects funded in our broad constituency.

One final thought - break the rotten mould, cost in 'appropriate'
payment for the writers. I'm serious.

cut the slack

love and love
