John, I don't know if Richard Kerridge is on this list (I doubt it) but you're right that he's working on eco-theory. The first collection of essays edited from Britain in this area is edited by RK and due from Zed books early in 1998. Richard is at Bath Spa University College and is booked to give a paper based on this approach to contemporary poetry at the Postmodern Poetry Conference here, 30-31 March 1998.
