Dear Britpo member -
Last month there were 294 messages sent to this list, the most in a month
since the list began in November 1996. In all, over the 12 months there've
been 1403 messages at an average of 116 per month. But hey, who's
counting?
Perhaps I should propose an award on the 27th of this month ("our" first
birthday) for the silliest posting over the year. Prize "to be announced";
nominations for any message sent *by a current list-member* are invited,
deliberately silly messages are invalid, as are abusive ones... My own
nomination might be my message of 30th April advertising the new ALP
catalogue, which I heralded as being "1977". No-one corrected me...
