******************************************************** RURAL GEOGRAPHY POSTGRADUATE FORUM (RGPF) 9th - 10th APRIL 1997 Organised by the Department of Geography, University of Leicester and the Rural Geography Study Group ******************************************************** Rural geography is an increasingly popular and diverse area for postgraduate study. This two day forum provides an opportunity for young rural researchers, at different stages of their research, to present their work, share ideas and get to know each other in an informal setting. # Paper Presentations - A series of thematic presentations will take place over the two days in which postgraduates are invited to present short papers (10-15 mins long) to introduce others to specific areas of research. # Poster Display - All participants will be provided with the opportunity to present their research in a poster format. # Workshops - A series of workshops will also be run on issues of data collection, analysis and writing up. # Guest Speaker - Keith Hoggart (Kings College London) will be speaking at the forum on the first evening.
