The articles of Donald Sullivan in Medieval Studies and in the volume Nicholas of Cusa on Christ and the Church (coedited by myself) address the reactions of Cusanus to the Bleeding Host cult in Wilsnak & related questions. There is a recent translation of the Pilgrim's Guide to Santiago de Compostella which includes information on current situations of sites listed along the various tributary routes, but my copy of the guide is at home.
