                                  Call for Papers:
                                 Medieval theology

The Department of Theology and Religious Studies of the University of
Leeds announces its sponsorship of the following sessions for the
Fourth Annual International Medieval Congress, University of Leeds
(14-17 July 1997):

              Philosophy and Theology in the Schools, 1100-1350
              Embodiment and Spirituality in Medieval Thought
              Early Medieval Theology

You are invited to submit an abstract for a paper in any one of these
sessions.  Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and the paper's
presentation must be no longer than 20 minutes.  Please include a
proposed title for the paper, your name, address, e-mail and
institutional affiliation (if any).  You may submit either by regular
post:
