I have finished a second very-early draft of a document describing the syntax of DC elements, sub-elements and how to use / encode DC inside attribute:value metadata. This includes using META tags for HTML but without breaking HTML 2.0 or higher validation. There is still a lot of work to be done including examples, metadata for PNG and namespaces for schemes plus integration with Jon's work on sub-elements and other DC encodings where possible. <URL:http://www.hensa.ac.uk/pub/metadata/dc-encoding.html> Dave
