I have received a few messages lately, sent with varying degrees of panic,
asking me to 'unsubscribe' the senders of the messages from our list. I am
normally very happy to oblige, but would like to point out, for the
record, that each and every message sent to the list has the following
message as a part of the header (i.e., the bit at the beginning of the
message):

X-Unsub: To leave, send text 'leave medieval-religion' to
[log in to unmask]
* * * * * * * * *
If any of you has tried this, and has failed to leave the list, please do
send me a copy of the message.
