A good idea and noble offer, however, I'm a bit concerned about one 
bit of the above postings, that being a sense that we can on longer 
post such things to the list for fear of being offensive. We've 
already had this discussion, and there's no need to bring it up again,
but the last I checked this was a free list, and NO ONE should have 
to feel intimidated or afraid to post something. 

I have no intention of disappearing from the list or occasionally 
posting a joke/limerick/funny story. We have already agreed to keep 
such postings to a small amount, just when something strikes us as 
humorous, so there should be no worries about cluttering the list or 
taking away from its academic purposes. We shouldn't have to post in 
secret and in fear.
