EEVL, the Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library, is
delighted to announce its second available service, the:
SEARCHABLE ENGINEERING NEWSGROUP ARCHIVE

This is a searchable archive of messages from a selected group
of 125 engineering Newsgroups. 40 days worth of messages
are archived, and no News feed is necessary in order to read the
messages as they are stored on the EEVL server. The form based
query engine allows searches by keyword, and includes several
helpful filters.
EEVL is a Project to build a gateway for the higher education and
research community to engineering information on the Internet.
The main part of this gateway will become available later this
year, but in the meantime EEVL is introducing various other
services for the engineering community.
