Stu, could you explain why you use the 'dot' convention
for META element (ie DC.title). It does not seem
like an elegant solution :-)

What about the use of META to indicate the
element set...Eg:

<meta name="metadata" content="DublinCore">
<meta name="title" content="HTML 2.0 Spec">
.....
