The Saturday banquet is now a bit of history, as you have probably noticed in the program(me)--unless you are in Cistercian studies, that is. This being so, it would behoove you to estimate the size of the medieval-religion crowd and (try to) make reservations somewhere. We locals have trouble booking a group at a restaurant for congress week when we begin in January; the restauranteurs accept eagerly, then check their calendars and say, Oh we can't take reservations!
