I have always thought of Colloidal Silver (topical antibiotic) simply as SSD ie. silver sulphadiazine (Silvazine - S&N). It vis made by creating a colloidal suspension of AgNO3 and Sulphadiazine solutions from my recollections as a pharmacist 20 years ago! Maybe there are other colloidal silvers and other uses?
