> Come on you guys, whats safe to delete around here!!!!!!!!

.dll files are Dynamic Link Libraries. Do not delete *unless* you
are absolutely 100% certain they are orphans. They are *not*,
repeat, not temp files!

Get a windows deleter program (the best is Clean Sweap). It will
tell you what is safe to delete and what is safe to delete with
precautions.

When you use clean sweap to delete files you are not sure about, you
have the option to back them up or archive them. After few weeks
when everything seems to be going fine, delete the back ups.

Search for your temp files from the root directory (c:\). Use win95
find and type *.tmp and then delete the lot.

Do not touch .dll files unless you know what you are doing. However,
some software will install its dll files in its own directory,
others will install them in the windows directory where they are
difficult to identify once the program is no longer needed and you
want to remove it.

Do not delete programs from the file manager (explorer). Get windows
<add/delete programs> to do it for you (control panel) or get a
deleter like clean sweap. This way, you also remove all the
associated files that may be invisible to you.

Now, that was a 200 quid worth of win95 training or what!! :-)
