NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR 1996 WOOD AWARD FOR PRIMARY CARE RESEARCH NAPCRG is calling for nominations for the 1996 Wood Award for Lifetime Contribution to Primary Care Research. This prestigious award honors the individual who has, over her or his career, made the greatest contribution to primary care research and related fields. Individuals from all professions, scientific disciplines and nations are eligible to receive the Award. Nominees need not be NAPCRG members. The annual Wood Award includes a distinguished plaque, a substantial cash award and support to attend the Annual NAPCRG meeting to deliver the Maurice Wood Award Lecture. The Award is named in honor of Dr. Maurice Wood, an early leader in primary care research and founder of the North American Primary Care Research Group. To nominate a person simply write a letter describing the nominee's contributions to primary care research and explaining why he or she is the most outstanding candidate in the world.
