Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy"
Barry Unsworth "Pascalis Island" plus an epic about slavery - name
escapes me.
Robertson Davies "The Cunning Man"
Snow Falling on Cedars (sorry can't remember Author)
Dennet's "Darwin's Dangerous Idea" (I'm just starting this - difficult
requires more brain RAM than I've got used to using)

Dawkin's "River out of Eden" My wife liked this. She says that it's not
for the religious.
