Today's BMJ represents a minor triumph for GP-UK. Following a thread on
this list Chris Derrett and I put together a letter, edited entirely
via email, which is printed in this week's edition. Perhaps more will
follow?

Congratulations also to Sheila Teasdale on the publication of her
leading article on the future of clinical audit.

I was also interested in the editorial about the increased use of
Bayesian statistics in medicine which referred to our 1982 paper showing
that computers could be used to detect kidney transplant rejection
earlier than the transplant surgeons. Only 14 years ahead of our time
on this occasion ;-)

Trims.
