I had understood that, following an attempted fraud, the medical schools were
responsible for checking the hep B status of students on entry. There have
been several recent articles in the BMJ on this problem, the relevant
references are no doubt available from the medline. Check with the student
health service of the university what they are doing and if they are prepared
to pay.
