You may have read the details of the radiation fire fourty years ago at Greenham Common air base recently. Locally we are looking at the current incidence of leukaemia etc, but our memories and computer systems only really go back about five years. Does anyone have any thoughts as to whether it is worth looking at these figures so long after the event, and does anyone have any experience of similar sorts of scare/follow up studies???
