David, We got our computer (EMIS) on 5 2 92, but didn't get on to acute prescribing routinely for about 6 months. It took about a year before all the partners were using the computer routinely for all consultations and acute prescribing.Repeat prescribing had been our first priority. I can (from the currrent search) find which patients have had kenalog in different years - but it means doing a report on different features and then reading it through. It's a bit fidgety! What about your patients? and what about involving a larger group? Mary PS If we all got together on this, i can see the opportunity of 2 papers for somebody - management of hayfever in general practice , and methodology in GP-UK computer based audit/research! -- Mary Hawking Kingsbury Court Surgery Church Street Dunstable Beds LU5 4RS tel:01582 601289 (home) 01582 663218 (surgery) fax:01582 476488 (surgery) %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
