CFP:

The role of ‘representation’ in teaching and learning goes beyond the mere static depiction of facts, projects or information. Whether in design, the arts or science subjects, it has a dynamic role in fostering creativity in the learning process itself. It functions as a bridge, not only between theoretical concepts and tangible creations, but also between the knowledge shared by educators, students and practitioners.

It is central to various disciplines, perhaps most obviously in design and the arts where it is taught as a stand-alone subject, but also in other fields where the visualization and communication of ideas, data and methods are central to teaching, learning and professional success.

Reflecting this scenario, this call seeks to explore the various facets of representation across design disciplines:

Architecture | Urban design | Landscape Architecture | Interior design | Visual arts | Graphic design, and more.
