We are looking for a new Archives Graduate Trainee at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew!
Kew’s Library and Archives are responsible for organising and managing one of the greatest collections of botanical literature to be found anywhere in the world. The Archives & Records Management team manages both Kew’s historic record
of activities as well as the corporate records management service. The records are varied and significant, reflecting Kew as a global resource for plant knowledge.
The trainee will be key in helping to manage the archival and modern records collections and provide access to them. This will, for example, be done through Reading Room duties, document retrievals,
or reprographics orders. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in archives administration or records management and is looking to gain valuable experience pre-qualification.
Hours of work: Full time
Contract type: Fixed Term – 1 year 51 weeks
Provisional start date: 2nd September 2024
Salary: £26,100 per annum pro rata
