I'm very (very) happy to say that my book "Data and Doctor Doom: An Empirical Approach To Transmedia Characters" has just been published by Palgrave Macmillan. As the title suggests, it put forwards an empirical methodology for tracking transmedia characters as they change over time and different media. Full details are here:
