Dear all

Hope everyone is well.

We are delighted to announce that our SDF patron, Jenny Garrett OBE has become a delegate, for UN Women. Jenny feels honoured to contribute towards promoting gender equality empowering women and ensuring a future for all. She has openned the invitation to join her on this journey of advocating for change and combating discrimination with the purpose to build a world where every individual regardless of their gender has opportunities and rights.
She is fully committed to using her voice and platform to raise awareness share inspiring stories. Consider inspiring others to stand up for gender equality.
Want to join too? UN Women ask you to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours over the month of March, to be briefed and attend your selection of events – this is so that you find this an educational and fulfilling experience. The delegation is open to anyone, of any gender, all you need is a passion for human rights, gender equality, activism and/or politics! The maximum time commitment is...as much as you like! There are typically approximately 800 events over the two weeks, which will be on a rolling 24-hour schedule. All delegates will be asked to provide brief reflections on the events they have attended, so that UNWomen can document the joint learnings of the full delegation, and work to make the UN increasingly accessible to all. The deadline to apply is 26th February Complete application here

Please note this opportunity is NOT organised by the SDF so you will have to register by yourselves using the above link and manage your engagement with the respective organiser(s).

Thank you all for your continued support,

Ross
