With apologies for cross-posting.

The House of Commons Library is looking to recruit a new colleague for the role of POST Senior Liaison Librarian.

This role works closely with POST, the Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology team, ensuring the effective and efficient use of information tools and resources, taking account of changing user needs and developments in information management.

It is the perfect opportunity for an academic librarian to experience what liaison looks like in a different sector and to support research in the context of policy. No previous experience or knowledge of Parliament and procedure is required to apply for this role.

The House of Commons Library is committed to better support candidates by sending interview questions in advance. Additional application and interview guidance is also available.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Anne-Lise Harding, Strategic Training Lead.

Many thanks
