History Day 2023 will be held in-person at Senate House, London, and online on Thursday 23 November 2023, 11:00-17:00 GMT.

History Day is a day for students, researchers & history enthusiasts to explore library, museum, archive and history collections across the UK & beyond.


This year we return to an in-person fair in London for the first time since 2019, while retaining opportunities to discover collections and join the event online.

History Day 2023 will start with an interactive panel sessions at 11:00 GMT, followed by the History Day Fair at 12:00-16:00 GMT.

Discovering historical collections | 11:00 - 12.15 GMT
Woburn Suite, Senate House & Online - via Zoom

This interactive panel session will focus on ways of finding historical resources and collections. Our expert panel will introduce the services they manage, and will discuss current issues in discovery of historical collections. There will then be a chance for members of the audience (both online and in person) to ask questions.
