This is the final reminder that you can still register for the Bank of England Watchers' Conference that will take place on the 3rd of November at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, London.

This conference aims to bring together economists from academia, markets, think tanks and policy institutions to discuss central banks and the macroeconomic landscape in which they operate, focusing on the UK. This follows the inaugural BoE Watchers' conference in 2022, which was a great success.

This year's conference will follow a similar pattern to last year.  The two keynotes will be by Tobias Adrian (Financial Counsellor, IMF) on a global perspective on the outlook for financial stability, and Andrew Hauser (Executive Director for Markets, BoE) on the future evolution of the Bank of England's balance sheet. The other panels will be on labour market dynamics, the monetary policy outlook, and Bank of England accountability.  Speakers include Jonathan Haskel, Silvana Tenreyro, Kristen Forbes, Kate Barker, Alan Manning and Martin Wolf.

The conference is being held in person and is open to all.  We ask that all attendees register in advance, which you can do via the website above (there is no fee).  There will be a drinks reception at the venue after the conference.
