May I respectfully suggest that this email thread be ceased given the distress it is causing

Look, clearly the emotions are high and such accusations should not be thrown around so lightly. But also none of us ever know what someone else is going through, or who they may have lost. Forcibly removing a scholar from an academic community because they very clearly are distressed following an unspeakable crime, who may be personally affected, who may be personally grieving this abhorrent crime inflicted against civilians, potentially even family or close friends right now feels wrong to me. Whether or not you agree with the actions of Israel. Perhaps this could be something that could be resolved in calmer personal correspondence that acknowledges the pain and loss felt by both communities right now. Rather that kicking someone out when they are suffering.

Dear MECCSA list admins,

Would it be possible to remove Dr. Bardach-Yalov from this mailing list, seeing as she just referred to me and others as „Nazi collaborators“ for signing a petition? Surely if statements in this thread need to be moderated by the admins, then this one.

Thank you and kind regards,
Dror

I just have to make it clear: all those, who stand for HAMAS terrorists are terrorist supporters. They support killing, torturing, raping and kidnapping innocent people.

Those Jews, who signed this petition are Nazi collaborators.

There is nothing academic in pretending to be objective, while ignoring the suffering of Jewish people. It's just a modern antisemitism.

Someone had to explain you all, guys, that singing petitions for terrorists and against innocent civilians is a crime. I am glad I'm still alive to be the one to tell you all this.

I know I won't be able to convince everyone here, but I believe, that some of you aren't biased pro-palestinian propagandists and can do some short research and find the truth.

Just remember - if these Nazis will ever finish with us - they will start with you.
