Hi,
Have to say I was the same. I’m raising this with our Team Lead but would be interested in hearing what approach others take.

Hi
We are still reeling (sorry for pun) We are currently looking at all our budgets as we had to cut our newspaper provision a couple of years ago and were relying on the microfilm.
The lack of notice has been a real shock. We have a meeting next week so I'll be very interested to know how everyone else is reacting to the news.

Hi everyone
Our Local Studies Officer is off at the moment so I've picked this up in her absence and looking for some advice please.
We buy microfilms of two of our local newspapers from UK Archiving but have just had a call from them to say that the National Library of Scotland has stopped supplying them with the hard copies. Therefore they will be unable to supply microfilms unless we
provide the hard copies of the papers for them to film.
We do currently still get the hard copies as well as the microfilm. Just wondered what everyone else does/is going to do?
Thanks
Janice
