CT Operator and Management Opportunities @ WMG, University of Warwick
We currently have two positions open in to work within the CiMAT (Centre for Imaging, Measurement and Additive Technologies) team at WMG, University of Warwick in X-ray CT. The centre has five X-ray CT scanners and supports work across both academia and industry. Applications close 12 November. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced XCT operator/lab manager to grow their lab management expertise in an experienced and growing XCT and metrology team (including engineers, researchers and PhD students), working with state-of-the-art equipment on a broad range of applications, and from fundamental research through to commercial inspection. The role will also involve promotion of the facility, interacting with potential customers and collaborators from academia and industry, and the opportunity to exhibit and present at national and international events and conferences.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic XCT operator to grow their scanning and data analysis expertise in an experienced and growing XCT and metrology team (including engineers, researchers and PhD students), working with state-of-the-art equipment on a broad range of applications, and from fundamental research through to commercial inspection. The role will support research partners and commercial customers, exploiting the capabilities of the facility to deliver world-leading X-ray CT scanning and data analysis. You will work in a team of CT operators and researchers, delivering the highest quality outputs, often to commercial timeframes, interacting with our customers from requirements capture through to delivery of results. This post would potentially suit an early-career or experienced CT operator, or PhD graduate with experience of CT operation during their research, keen to build a career as a CT specialist.
