Insats is announcing a new livestreamed seminar on
Using ChatGPT for Efficient Data Analysis in R (Sept 11-12). This introductory workshop, taught by
professor Peter Gruber (who has PhDs in both physics and economics),
is designed to introduce PhD students, professors, and professionals to
the world of collaborating with AI to write R code and programs more
efficiently. While current AI models are not perfect, integrating them
into statistical analysis workflows has the potential to render
researchers and practitioners several times more efficient than has ever
been historically possible. For example, instead of having to research
individual functions in R, it is now possible to simply ask ChatGPT to
produce the code that a researcher needs. Whether a novice R user or an
experienced R programmer, this has the possibility of revolutionizing
the way research is done across the social, health, and natural
sciences.
