Dear all,

We (Oxford Archaeology) would like to draw your attention to a recently advertised post-doctoral research post in palynology for the Rewilding Later Prehistory project, which is trialling a new mode of industry-led cross-sector research in exploring later prehistoric wildlife and its relevance to contemporary ecological debates. The project is led by OA in partnership with the Universities of Oxford, Exeter and Toulouse, the Archaeology Data Service, Historic England and Knepp Castle Estate.

The postholder – a palynologist with strong computational skills – will work with lead investigator Dr Anwen Cooper, palaeoenvironmental experts at OA, and Professor Mike Charles, University of Oxford.

The post is offered as a 1 year FTE/2 year 0.5 FTE post, with some flexibility within these options, and the closing date is 30^th July 2023, with the intention that the post will start no later than 2^nd October.
