Salary: £32,112

Contract: FT / Fixed term until 21st April 2024

About the role

The Natural History Museum’s Library and Archives has been developing its unparalleled collection of natural history literature, artwork, archives and information resources since the Museum first opened its doors in 1881.

The post holder will join the Special Collections and Archives Division within the Department of Library and Archives at the Natural History Museum with the purpose to curate, develop, promote and support innovative engagement and access to the Special Collections held in the Library and Archives.

 

The role covers a broad range of collection responsibilities including the day-to-day collections management for the Library Special Collections and assisting in their collection development and promotion. The role will also provide support for their digital development to increase their discoverability and accessibility for researchers, students and visitors to the Library and Archives and driving our commitment to world-class collections and services for research, teaching and learning.
