Two Funded Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowships at INRCA IRCCS, Centre for Socio-Economic Research on Ageing, Ancona, Italy

 

The Centre for Socio-Economic Research on Ageing at INRCA IRCCS (National Institute of Health and Science on Ageing: https://www.inrca.it/zz?uMH9) is delighted to announce a call for applicants for two new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Research (DR) posts on critical issues concerning home, ageing and care, in collaboration with the Universitā Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM), Department of Economic and Social Sciences (DISES: https://dises.univpm.it/en/presentation/). 

These prestigious positions, to start on 1st September 2023, include a salary and mobility allowance as well as a research, training and networking budget, and are a part of the HOMeAGE international and interdisciplinary training programme on place in later life, coordinated by the Irish Centre For Social Gerontology (ICSG) at the University of Galway (Ireland): https://icsg.ie/doctoral-research-projects/. Addressing spatial disparities of frail older people through care and support (DR post N° 3), supervised by Professor Micol Bronzini (UNIVPM), Giovanni Lamura (INRCA IRCCS) and Kieran Walsh (ICSG). The successful applicant will complete two funded 4-month secondments: (1) University of Galway, Ireland, focussing on social exclusion models in later life; (2) an Italian SME specialised in innovative technologies for ageing in place;
