As part of this project, we are issuing this Call for Evidence (CFE) to gather valuable views, insights, and experiences from a range of individuals, service providers and organisations who work to support people with energy-related advice and support. By ‘energy-related advice and support’ we mean services, schemes and other forms of support work that is targeted towards households and communities that may be unable or struggling to access or afford fuels for heating, cooking, cleaning, lighting, etc. in the home. While we are keen to hear from anyone that provides energy-related advice and support, we are particularly interested to hear from those working with Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities (as well as nomadic communities, such as Boaters and New Travellers). Individuals who identify as being part of these groups are widely recognised as marginalised, under-served, and a less well-understood consumer group in the context of energy, fuel poverty, and housing.
