The 2022 Showcase from the MA in Arts Management at Queen's combines highlights of the exciting new student research in arts and cultural industries management and cultural policy with insights and reflections by a visiting contemporary researcher.

This year’s event will be delivered online and will highlight the work of Dr Xin Gu of Monash University, Australia. Drawing on her work on urban creative clusters and agglomerations, cultural work, creative entrepreneurship, cultural and creative industries policy, media cities, maker culture and cyberculture, she will offer valuable learning on the concept of the creative city and the creative economy.

A live Q&A will accompany the session. The showcase is popular each year with anyone interested in or working in the arts and cultural sector and a great way for the public to hear about the research and thinking behind the exhibitions, events and performances we all enjoy.

This event will be recorded and hosted on Zoom with closed captions available. To enable us to make the event as accessible as possible, please tell us when booking if you have any specific requirements.
