Dear Colleagues We have a 2-year post-doctoral position available entitled "Development and application of new MRI methods to quantify human brain structure and function in neuroinflammation” at the Department of Neuroscience, Imaging and Clinical Sciences and the Institute for Advanced Biomedical Technologies, University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy. Please forward this message to colleagues who may be interested. The project will develop 3T MRI based measures of brain structure and vascular and metabolic function in the healthy brain and people with multiple sclerosis. The research will involve optimising MRI data acquisition and the development of novel analysis methods to extract physiological information from MRI data, as well as the application of the methods to clinical research. Knowledge of MRI and scientific programming is required. The position would suit a researcher with a physics/engineering background interested in clinical research or a psychology/clinical imaging researcher with experience of MRI and data analysis.
